The remote also supports older LG TV models and is backwards compatible with remote control models:

Magic Remote Registration

Before you can use the Magic Remote, you must pair it with your TV.

• Insert the batteries into the Magic remote and turn on the TV.
• Point the Magic remote towards the TV and press the

Roll (OK) on the remote control.

If the Magic remote fails to register, turn off the TV and try again
